Interesting pick. I enjoyed the film back in the day, but even then it felt waaaay too rushed, they tried fitting three books into one film and it shows with the pacing, lol. Have you watched the Netflix series, and if so, what did you think of it? Personally I thought the Netflix adaption was SO much better, simply because they were able to go into more detail, each book was given two episodes each (Except the final book which was one episode but to be honest that's all it needed) and honestly... I actually enjoyed Neil Patrick Harris as Olaf much more than Jim Carrey :o |
Really? I thought it was great, especially with the idea of 3 books in one film. Each to our own anyway! I watched some of the Netflix series one and could not stand it at all, couldn't even get passed the second episode. The actors were terrible (Neil Patrick was actually pretty good). Everything seemed out of place and didn't fit the atmosphere the books set, however the movie did. I prefer Jim Carrey over Neil P, he hit the nail in the head.
