It may/may not replace the TITAN. One way to know — when the Quadro is released, if it has the same amount of CUDAs, then the 3090 is this gen's TITAN. If it has a bit more, with more VRAM, then I'd expect a new TITAN at some point. The 3090 isn't the full-fat either, so there's still a possibility of a faster card that way as well (although that could be a 3090 "Black" type situation rather than a TITAN). Plus, there's stuff that TITAN cards generally have that only how up in Quadro cards, such as TCC mode (the 3090 doesn't have this). TITAN is considered "Prosumer" considering it straddles the line of Consumer and Professional (a stop gap to Quadro), while the 3090 is simply the best "gaming card" that will come from the 3000 series. 

NVIDIA knows what they're doing. I mean, why not just call this a TITAN? In my eyes, because they wanted to emphasize that this is a gaming card. Can't do that with a TITAN. Plus, recent TITANs have been unveiled long after the new series (this happened with both Pascal and Turing).

So.....yeah. :P

If thats the case, when the ti's come out next year or so, you think they also make a 3090ti? Cuz with the 20's the 2080ti dint get a super.
