you will have a great game if you only adjust carryweight, it just fixes the obnoxious action of selling at shop =>return to previous point => loot => return to shop => get to the next few rooms => sell again

it turns into clear a dungeon or 2 and then return to sell while also having mined etc

and that's fine...on a followup playthrough. If you adjust the carry weight, it alters the game's balance a lot and they won't get the intended experience, which could either ruin it for them or make them get the wrong idea. I don't think mods are bad, but your first run through a game should be vanilla. Adjust as needed, not as the default.
