When exactly was the last amazing console launch? I can't recall such a thing ever living up to everyone's hopes. The games are never amazing at the start of the gen, consequently we never see an amazing jump in the games we can play from one day to the next.
So, delay, or not. It's going to be the same situation next year, or whenever they decide to launch them. One thing is for sure though, you ain't gonna move many PS4s or XBones this Christmas, because everyone knows the new stuff is coming. With that in mind, it's hard for me to see the point in a delay.
