For me the time after highschool up till I started working (18-20) was the worst time of my life, parents were treating me like sh!t and I didn't see much perspective for myself although I was in college. There was one particular time when dad was taking me home and I wanted to jump out of the car and run to the nearest body of water and drown myself. He was a very difficult and toxic person for everyone but especially to me, he always used me as a scapegoat.
Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.
