My parents used to go to the drive in all the time. I recall going to see movies like Honey I Shrunk The Kids and looking in the rearview and seeing hardcore porn playing on the second screen behind us.
My mom would say "Don't look back there" but... titties. I probably missed half the movies we went to see. And there were a few times I remember hiding in the trunk so I could see the movie for free!
I recall seeing RotJ, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, Who's That Girl, Roadhouse, Evil Dead 2, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Innerspace, Masters of the Universe, and maybe a few more at that drive-in. Great memories.
I should call my mom and thank her for making such great memories. 🤗
