He had reason to believe it was online due to it saying 'online enabled' and 'play anytime with anyone' He had the game loaded for 3 minutes which they can see on their metric. How hard is it to refund a game that they didn't even play?

Where am I defending "these companies"? You are reading more into my post than it actually says.

If you wanna know, I am not a fan of these policies at Nintendo. I would even say that no one is. But that's not the topic of this thread.
