90fps-120fps is far from pointless.
You should try using a high-refresh display some time...
First thing I did when I went from 60hz to a 144hz display is spend 30 minutes moving my mouse cursor and windows around on my PC, the difference is very pronounced, but hard to showcase in a 24hz-30hz game trailer.
