Probably, since Maxwell is Pascal die shrunk 16nm with improvements. DF estimates Mariko die size is 16nm FinFET. Down from 20nm from the original Switch.
It'll be interesting either way to see what comes of this new hardware. Its still a way away. Mariko leaks were over a year from its release and was from dev kit, which the new hardware does not even have yet. I'm guessing its probably 2 years away which sounds about right. 5 year cycle for Nintendo is pretty normal.
