That generation was awful, 2 ylods, 3 rrods and the disc drive in the Wii broke.

All in the name for more environmentally friendly solder. I wonder how many extra consoles ended up in the dump to help the environment :/

I would bet the older "bad for the environment" solder that didn`t need any repair for over 30 years and you didn`t need to buy another product because of defect would end up being friendlier to the environment long term than the newer ones.
