The problem is these type of exclusives actually works and in the end Sony will benefits and the backlash will quickly go away.
Microsoft should respond by banning future Minecraft content from PS4 & PS5. But, that would simply be pity and bad for business. 3rd exclusive deal are in bad taste especially if it permenatly lock content away. I intend to wait for Avengers to come to gamepass and if they don't than they will never get my money. (Well if the game reviews well and goes on sale, then I'll think about it.)
No one should complain about exclusive deals because we the consumer are the one asking and rewarding companies for signing them. Especially the leading consoles at the time.
