Nintendo was the only one who didnt censor the latest DOA Extreme on the Switch. Sony did on the PS4. I also think you are confusing sex objects with sexualizing. Bayonetta is not a sex object, but her whole character is based around sex. From her dominatrix look and personality to her poses and dances.

Not censoring a game is not the same as publishing it. As for censoring a game or not, I'm guessing that's a question being addressed by someone in middle management somewhere.

Generally, when people complain about sexualizing they are referring gratuitous sexualization, or objectification. So, if you're going to get hung up on terminology, feel free to sub in that word. As for her "whole character" being based on sex, I'd question if you played the game. There's a lot more to her than that in both games. Posing and wearing leather doesn't mean your whole character is based on sex.

Well if they are so afraid, then they wouldnt let it on their platform. The same one that has Mario and Zelda. Why does it matter if they are the one publishing it?

Also she is based around sex. Thats the joke. She is so overly sexualized that it becomes funny.
