And? Do you actually think I am going to defend that? Not to mention, it’s irrelevant. If anything, it proves my point further; reveal trailers and demos tend to be a lot more polished than the actual final product. Keeping that in mind, how does bringing Killzone up help? Unless you expect Halo to look worse than what we’ve seen (which is a possibility), then yeah, I can see why you want to bring it up.
PS fans? You quoted me with a non-sense reply that shows your blind faith in MS, I got moderated for my choice of words, but the truth is, if this was SONY justifying a botched reveal, you wouldn't have bought "but it's an earlier build!!!1!!!", and you would be doing the right thing. And I don't understand the satisfaction with Halo's "nailed art-style". If it doesn't make the game less of an eye sore, then 343 definitely didn't nail shit. Breath of The Wild, on the other hand, just blows me away each time I pick it up. Now that's a game with an art-style that actually makes you forget that this is a Wii U game.
Does Rare really not know what the gameplay will be like? I had no idea! Everwild was of the few memorable moments during the show, if true, MS failed miserably.... and everyone thought it would be easy for them to "one up" Sony...
I am not a Sony fan, the reason I listed Sony games is because they’re a direct competitor (duh) and they’ve been consistent and transparent this entire generation when it comes to graphics what is in-game graphics and what isn't, what is exclusive and what isn’t, Phil & Aaron, on the other hand, have been spinning and flip flopping for years (SF5 vs Tomb raider comes to mind), it just doesn’t bode well for Halo. Not happy with my list of games? Fine, here is the unarguable truth: no first or third party flagship reveal was botched the way Halo infinite was, and even the exceptions you all are trying to bring up, they were all "downgrades", rarely games manage to look better than what they were like when initially shown. Which raises the question; why are you bringing up examples of games that you believe were downgraded? Unless you're expecting Halo to receive a downgrade, it doesn't make sense to bring KZ up. The only other plausible explanation for doing so is that you are illogically deflecting by digging up dirt on a competitor, regardless of the how relevant the dirt is. Reminds of era when the only response to the PS3 lack of exclusives was "bUt RRoD!11!!", puh lease, you can all do better. |
Tbh...I just don’t like responding to multiquotes. But you called me out so here we go.
As far as KZ trailer goes, you over thought it. Point is that trailers many times mislead the public. Halo didn’t, for better worse. And now we at least know its gonna improve in some capacity.
Sorry but you can’t nail me on hypotheticals. When you catch me in the act call me out. And so we clear, there is a difference between graphical fidelity and art style. They did nail the Halo CE art style. If it was the other way around we Halo fans would be truly screwed.
Wouldn’t say MS failed miserably...ya and you say your not a PS fan, could have fooled me. They eliminated the narrative that Xbox has no games. The current anti narrative is “Xbox games too far away”. That’s quite the improvement because this is a temporary narrative. Gameplay is inevitable. So what Everwild is a ways away and they figuring out the real gameplay mechanics...that’s what development is for. They just excited to show us more of the game which is fine.
“I am not a Sony fan”. Yes you are. That was always my impression. (Searches for ceremonial sword) Take a knee. I dub thee a PS fan. Go forth, be proud of who you are and be anti Xbox wherever you deem necessary. Glad we got that out of the way. Lol in all seriousness it’s just better people act who they are and drop the act that they are somehow not bias.
Personally I’d be more pissed at Spiderman MM. Sony advertised it as a sequel, or at least made no effort to make that clear in the trailer what it was. So many people thought that, a Sony rep had to confirm it was a expansion and they “didn’t mean to mislead anybody”. The thought of getting a MM sequel only to find out it was generous cross gen DLC locked to next gen to artificially boost demand? Not cool. I say cross gen because it takes many assets from the 2018 game, and therefore it is very much possible on PS4.
