Multiples that are from around the same time, that act the same way, or have experianced the same things, have the same outlooks ect.

Your just confuseing "release number" with generation, the word and meaning.

You are the one that is confusing everything and saying that a huge console manufacturer somehow doesn't have any part on the beginning of a new cycle of gaming consoles just because it doesn't fit your random criteria
