Third parties for the most part just seem perpetually short-sighted when it comes to Nintendo.

Here we have one of the fastest selling systems in history, absolutely dominating Japan in particular, with numerous examples of third party games selling well on it, and still their support is mostly lackluster. They're leaving so much money on the table.
