Actually organizing a boycott to not buy a buisness products when you disagree with their buisness practices in one area is actually one of the most mature things someone can do.

The reason Boycotts almost never work is because people are often not mature enough to stick to it the minute the company makes somethign they like even if their overarching philosphy doesn't change. (For example Ubisoft distributing Tenchu.)
