Nintendo has been fighting this battle for generations and has now successfully defended and rebounded against the new challenger while Sony's first line of defence has already fallen and MS's attempts to defend were cut through like butter. They left MS so dizzy they're still trying to find their feet.

As the new kid gets stronger, Nintendo mustn't lose focus and MS/Sony have to prepare for a fight where they've lost every battle so far.

Are you suggesting that phones will kill consoles in the future?

Are we going to pretend that the common consensus among the gaming community for the past 10-15 years hasn't been 'smartphones killed handhelds'?

Switch is proving that the gap between hh and home isn't as big as we've been led to believe.
