Nintendo needs to announce some really big games otherwise Wii owners will have a really really sad christmas. They will of course announce some but that is a necessity. They attacked the PS360 by releasing all their biggest GC franchises in the first 15 months.
What's left of the Gamecube Top15 in Nintendo games is
Luigi's mansion
Animal Crossing,
and some Starfox game
They already released
Smash,
Mario
Kart,
Zelda,
Mario PArty,
Pokemon,
Paper Mario
Metroid
Firing from all barrels at start worked beautifully, now lets see how they follow up.
(I mean they will still dominate, I don't understand it but apparently it works but perhaps it will be a littlebit more interesting. 
)
