And it is almost impossible to isolate in specific areas in systematic ways till it's gone, because we all depend on the global market and with our modern populations bordercrossing will keep happening without military involvement.

Most likely this will be another one added on the list of the viruses that claim many lives each year,it mutates pretty fast and it will be an ongoing research for improved vaccines.

Near oktober or midway oktober i suspect it to hit europe again in a more devestating wave that will take longer than the previous one.

Theres 1 solution that works, no matter what form the virus has or what mutations it underwent.
(its not even dependent on how fast and well, we develope medicin, and vaccines)

Dont spread it.

We know how it spreads, and if everyone in society acts their part, to not spread it, it wont.

Your only as strong as your weakest link.

(this is why USA is haveing issues, its so split on the issue, if its a hoax, just a flu, mask or not, people that dont care, covid19 parties (to purposefully infect one another))

Good social distanceing & practises + masks, can keep us safe.
If it becomes a yearly thing, then social distanceing and masks, will just become a way of life.

The silver lining is that those measures will help prevent many flu deaths as well. We might have a very low death toll from flu next season. Or if people give up on social distancing, good hygiene and masks, flu and covid19 might combine to make an even deadlier combination. Infected by both might push many more over the edge.

Hopefully many more people will opt for the flu shot this year, and hopefully it's an effective one (chose the right strains) this year.

People like to have holiday in the summer, yet it makes more sense to put the 2 month school holiday during flu season...
