I mean, unless the major Japanese third parties were going to make more of stuff like Taiko and Fishing Spirits, them being on Switch wouldn't really improve all that much. And even when third parties did try that angle, there were games like Ninja Box which maybe sold 10k. And even 3rd party staples that have flourished on Nintendo systems in past like Sumikko Gurashi and Yo-Kai Watch have declined as well.
