Predict the dodge and strike during its vulnerable period. You could dancing blade through them as well, quick multistrikes handle dodge spam just as well. Shea likes to dodge almost every time I come at her in the air, I use that to my advantage, trace her path with my character then B-air her when she can do nothing about it.
Depending on the character, all dodges are roughly vulnerable for 3 frames at the start, and 1/3 of the animations total frames at the end. Dedede is invulnerable for almost his entire spot dodge while Game & Watch is barely invulnerable at all. Sonics air dodge is just insane, while Bowsers just fails hard. Lucarios roll dodge rocks, Game & Watches roll dodge is laughable.
