If guy #2 really says there is nothing new and he isn't impressed he needs to stop reviewing games. If new=good in his mind he would be marking down 99% of games made for an unjust reason. I would rather have a game that has perfected everything that other games have done before it than a game that goes so far out on the branch with new things that it is very close to breaking off and falling into the crap below. Though they can be refreshing, they usually try so many new things that they can't make them all reach the ambition they were striving for and ends up being spotty and mediocre.
