Weirdly enough I've always felt USA's democratic party was very much centralist. It always felt weird when I read someone call your liberals "radical" just because they are pushing for policies that the rest of developed countries had been practicing for years. I guess thats just propaganda.
I dont like to write a lot, so much like others have said a moderate to me its just someone who endorses both left and right policies depending on the context of said policies, maybe leaning torwards one more than the other, but ultimately a mix of the two.
