First of all, I love Pantera.
I've been following several communities around it since the beginning of the leaks, which includes one with 200k people on reddit where most negative comments are being supressed, one with 20k in reddit where is total mayhem and very fun, and a telegram group with 1k people.
Nobody gives a damn about Ellie having a relationship with Dina, they just love making fun of her big nose.
Based on my impressions it goes like this, in this order:
1 - Poorly written story with no respect for old established characters and full of plot holes and characters making decisions that are makes no sense one on top of another, including the ending.
2 - The whole Abby arc including Lev, people just dont like it, the pacing is bad, the flashbacks are forced and ND failed miserably in trying to make us feel empathy for Anny. A lot of people mentions one of the reasons is because the game is too long, when you get there you already have 15 hours in game.
3 - False advertisement from ND, which on purpose changed characters and models in the trailers, even created scenes that does no appear in game to give you the impression that for at least a portion of the game it would be Joels + Ellie again getting rvenge due to someone else dying, probably Dina. In fact Ellie and Joel do not interact with each other the whole game except in his death.
4 - Wokenes in general. Bigot Sandwich, insulting Joel when he wanted to defend her, all white males are stupid, girl power, retcon of things from the first game, and despite having 2 lesbian main characters, you have two trans characters, Abby and Lev. Most people though Abby wasn NOT trans, but now most think she is.
5 - Abby's sex scene which generated a huge amount of memes.
