Happened to our Athlon 64 3000+ PC. We suspected some special screws or trick because we couldn't open it. When the PC died (well, the GeForce FX 5500 did) and a technician came by to check and open the case he had to ask for a powersaw to open the damn case because the OEM who made the thing bolted and welded the case shut apart from the ventilation holes! There was no way to open either side panel, it needed to be cut open. No wonder they went bankrupt shortly after...
