It usually is the weekend the game launched. When we get reports they usually mention like that. Sure some will say "sold this many on the first 5 or 7 days", but on VGC when we say first week we mean in sales calendar so it could be anything from 1 to 7 days (and won't make much difference since the bulky of first week is pre-order).
