Bold claim.

AMD's GPUs from the last 5 or 6 years use more power than Nvidia's counterparts, that's simply true.

What we still don't know is how does RDNA2 behaves, but it's quite obvious that both Sony and MSoft have put special effort in the cooling aspect of their consoles, which implies that they'll use quite a fair bit of power and the chips will run hot.
