Does the venting work as well when it is in the horizontal position? i don't have room to stand one up in my entertainment center. Placing the Switch behind the TV with younger kids was an utter disaster that ended with me having to buy a 3rd party dock (kept getting knocked off the back of the entertainment center as they were pulling the Switch out and putting it away).
Not a fan of the looks, but ultimately how it performs is what counts. I would prefer something black just so it matched my other components under the TV. Ascetics do matter more though to some people. Look how many people ragged on the gamecube for looking like a kids lunchbox and thought it was therefore a kiddy console (I know that wasn't the only issue the gamecube had).
