Putting Monster Hunter on PS4/Xbone/PC for World was a good move that paid off.
What would be a very, very bad move however, would be discontinuing the series' long-running portable line. Since 2005 Monster Hunter has run two concurrent branches; home and portable. With the Switch on track to be one of the best selling systems of all time, it would be sheer foolishness not to continue the MH portable line on it.
The two are not mutually exclusive. They (and we) can and should have both.
