It will become the best selling console yet.

This is what I said two years ago and I still stand by it.  Switch is for the most part selling exactly as I thought it would.  The only exception is that I thought it would be selling at this current rate about a year ago.  However I have no indication from the data to change my prediction.  Switch sales are still accelerating.

In the past two years a few more people have caught on to actually how historic the Switch will be as a console, but most people still don't get it.  Here is one question that most don't have a good answer for: "where are all these Switch sales coming from?"  It is tracking ahead of 3DS + Wii U.  In fact by this time in their life both the 3DS and Wii U have gotten price cuts and sales have signficantly started to slow.  Switch sales are still accelerating and it hasn't had a price cut yet.  It can't be just 3DS + Wii U customers.  Where do all these customers come from?  Also, Switch hasn't had a hit "casual" game of the magnitude of Wii Sports or Nintendogs, so the extra customers couldn't have come from the Wii/DS gamers who left.  Where do these customers come from?

When people start to realize where the extra customers come from, then it will be easy to see how Switch can sell 160m+.
