As Sony fanboyish as I was at the time, I saved up and got mine feb 07. Surprisingly, I ended up with a Wii later in May. (which I thought was crappy till I first played and enjoyed it.)
Luckily, I didn't have to get 2 jobs since I got a lot from working with my dad at the time. (he makes around 320k a year.) With the job I have now, mcdonalds, I wouldn't have gotten a Ps3 till like June 07.
