Oh nice, can’t wait to try it on my Android phone with the SSD it came with LOL

Microsoft already showed an amazing looking game built with Unreal Engine and it’s an actual game that will release. The UE5 tech demo looked great, it will look even better on XSX and PC.

This demo had a scaling resolution that was 1440p max and 30 FPS. Why is Ass Creed being 4K/30 a big deal?

It's not just about the SSD but the IO

"

Sony was heckled a bit for its focus on the PlayStation 5's storage speed, and if all you're imagining is loading screens disappearing more quickly, it does seem like an odd focus. But it's about moving beyond loading screens entirely, to the point where "you can bring in [the demo's] geometry and display it despite it not all fitting in memory," says Epic CEO Tim Sweeney.

In other words, the storage needs to be fast enough to keep up with the player, allowing the game to seamlessly increase the complexity of distant objects as they get closer without 'popping in' more detailed models—something we've gotten used to seeing.

To that end, Unreal Engine 5 is being "optimized for next-generation storage." The PlayStation 5 storage tech is "god-tier," says Sweeney, while PCs have some catching up to do. That said, "on a high-end PC with an SSD," and especially with an NVMe SSD, we should get "awesome performance" from Unreal Engine 5 games. (With a good GPU and CPU too, of course.)"

you always keep arguing even tho there is clearly article and many article pointed out that it can run on every platform but it will run better if it has better IO speed (not justb SSD ). Which Microsoft has but inferior to PS5 . So it will not running better nor good than PS5.

Just throw all the raw spec , it's all about faster IO

Also Assassins Creed is old gen graphic, it's supposed to run at 4K at 120 fps on Xbox SX.

Who knew that devs and companies say stupid stuff at the start of gens hyping up hardware they have marketing deals with.

Again, by the time the PS5 is out and games are using UE5 all this talk about PS5 SSD’s blowing PC away will be irrelevant. The PC with good hardware and an SSD will run this same demo better. The XSX is more powerful and also has an SSD, it will run the demo better.

Who said Ass Creed should be 4k and 120fps? Y’all really need to pick one argument and stick to it, MS can’t be over and under delivering at the same time
