Sure it doesn't negate it will be available on other platforms. But on the video posted they didn't talk about any other platform. And if Sony tried to put the videos on MS reveal to say they were revealed for Playstation 5 but would look and run better because of the SSD I'm pretty certain you would have an issue with it.

That is the problem with MS, they try to capitalize even on other system reveals, happened the start of this gen as well, they just can't accept it. I remember they putting stunts on the marketing deals between Sony and some publishers like the fragance add and stuff like that. I guess you like this type of behaviour right?

Anyone should take issue with Sony saying something will look or run better because of the SSD because that’s silly. But why would I care if Sony said UE5 was revealed for PS5? It’s a multi platform game engine lol.

There was nothing lying in the tweet. UE5 will come to XSX and should look and run better. And it will look and run even better on PC.

Twist as you wish but the tweet turned a reveal for PS5 into a reveal to XSX because it can't accept a good new for PS5 even having the need to take a jab against it, just like Aaron done on another tweet.

And yes having SSD can do the game run better. Unless you think they invested a lot on the technology just for giggles. And that Sweeney interview was just a big lie.

Unreal Engine 5 are optimize to run on faster IO of SSD (just read what Tim Sweeney said on the interview) , If Xbox Series X has faster IO speed like Sony has  then it will have slightly better resolution probably 16 to 17 % better resolution. But in reality Xbox series X has slow IO speed , So expect the same quality with slower frame rates and a lot of pop up on polygon, triangle and texture . Or probably the same quality with PS5 with all the raw performance done  on GPU instead on the IO to mitigate the slower IO speed.

Also on topic, the point of the discussion is not just about showing unreal, but to shows the potential next gen look, Microsoft have failed this, Sony create the buzz why upgrading to next gen is a must.

Microsoft killed the hype by saying 60fps and 4K while failed on delivering gameplay demo. On top of that the most wanted games on Inside Xbox Assassins Creed Valhalla is not even showed in gameplay session and not running at 60 fps, instead it's run at 30 fps.

Oh nice, can’t wait to try it on my Android phone with the SSD it came with LOL

Microsoft already showed an amazing looking game built with Unreal Engine and it’s an actual game that will release. The UE5 tech demo looked great, it will look even better on XSX and PC.

This demo had a scaling resolution that was 1440p max and 30 FPS. Why is Ass Creed being 4K/30 a big deal?

Because it is a crossgen and MS have been talking a lot about 60fps but then the reveal failed to show it. Hellblade also wasn't that impressive. So MS still haven't show all the beefier HW can do.
