How much do you care about the graphical leap between consoles at this point?

Now there are obviously games that still manage to look fantastic but even those have issues from time to time.

I think that's just lazy effort though because there are other areas in the game that have very nice looking textures and other sections of the game that look like a CG movie.

Which I think highlights another problem -- just because you have hardware doesn't mean the hardware is going to do the hard work of texturing, animating, etc. for you. There's a reason CG movies cost hundreds of millions of dollars, you still have to put in the work.
