Next gen PS5/XB1SX sales ratio will look the same as this gen's. Huge changes in console marketshare require huge changes in the industry.

In the traditional sense, Xbox does seem to have the better specs. Multiplatform games will probably look identical, though and it will be up to the 1st party studios to get the most out of each platform. That's where I see Sony doing a much better job and still end up with the better looking games, especially during the first 2 years when everything will be cross gen on Series X.
