Dreamcast. Not just the games but a lot very sentimental system for me.I can't get into why but it came at the perfect time in my life and I needed it to. Helped me out of a dark place. I love everything about the hardware. Ahead of its time with online. A camera and video service to share videos online. For such a short-lived console it has an insanely great library. Fans still make games for Dreamcast. First console MMO with PSO. Microsoft nearly made Xbox BC with DC games. They used focus tests used DC consoles and nearly put a VMU in the controller. The controller is modeled after the DC controller and still uses the Dreamcast colors buttons and button layout. Dreamcast, not Xbox was the first console to use Direct X. SEGA had a DC Zip Drive, Karaoke Machine. MP3 player. Cable Box. DVD player and much more planned. There was that DC built into a TV released in Japan. I could blabber on forever but there is no way anyone can deter me my love for DC. I liked the Xbox a lot. It felt like a continuation where DC left off. Hell Halo at one point was rumored for DC...when it was still a TPS.
Xbox 360 felt like the next Gen sequel to DC to me. From the consoles look. To the controller. To the early SEGA support.
