It's natural to assume that there are a lot of people who won't go to the hospital because they fear the bills. People being more afraid of hospitals than a deadly virus is pretty sad. There are probably also a ton of people who just die fast in their own homes due to comorbidities.
In any way, I've been saying it for weeks, but the death rates and case number curves do not match what's been going on in the country. They just need way more testing.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
