Great game with a good if too repetitive soundtrack. Was without much flaws in it's first half, and while the second half did start to present some snags that made me less enthusiastic for the game overall, i'd still say it was great in the end. Final moments are especially memorable, and a lot of the best the OST has to offer is in the last hour. Cool experimental battle system that mixes action with an AT(B) meter, with some interesting ideas (exploits???). Don't modify your weapons to have too much bullets per turn since the total damage output possible is divided by number of bullets, instead of each bullet representing an individual maximum damage output. Try to keep a mental track of how many bullets it takes to kill an enemy since, if you assign more bullets to the enemy than it takes to kill them, those extra hits attributed to the enemy are lost, and could have easily been better used on other enemies. I.E. if you have two enemies and 3 shots, and you assign 2 shots to one enemy, and that enemy dies in one, you lose that extra hit you assigned to it, and only shoot 2 bullets out of the 3 you could have done on that turn. Probably the most interesting thing about the system. Also, I don't know if this is an error but switching armor mid-battle helps boosts your PE point regeneration, which is kinda cool because it means you give up one turn but as a result you get to charge up points for moves like the Devil Trigger (not actually what it's called but what the hell) and Energy Shot.

The story is pretty good and all I could think about while playing the game was how much more lame this story would be if the game was remade with modern visuals. More abstractionism = more believable and interesting ludicrous storytelling.
