June 27, 2008 - Samba de Amigo fans were disappointed to learn that the new Wii game would not include a maraca peripheral. The plastic shakers were part of the original Dreamcast game's charm. Take heart -- it looks like SEGA is planning to pack in the peripherals, after all.

If UK retail site hmv is to be believed, two maracas that fit over the tops of your remotes will be included in the box. Hopefully these will also contain the pellets that create the maracas' shaking sound.

Of course, the image is labeled "not final packaging," so we'll have to wait for official confirmation from SEGA before popping open the champagne.
