As far as I know, dells are generally good. My work buys dell computers/laptops and we never had any issues but your mileage may vary. They do have extended warranties if you are really worried. Some of their laptops deals also include Office. In Canada, they do have a unidays program that gives you an additional 10% off but not sure if it's the same in Japan. The G3 also goes up to 1660 Ti.
