"too bad, not our problem, buy it again" reminds me how they treat their hardcore base which bought the Wii U and later the Switch (Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 1 + 2, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad...)

I caved a bought captain toad twice because of the dlc. The dlc was a joke. Something like 3 extra levels. Also having animal crossing islands being localized to the switch console would be unusual if they expect people to own multiple consoles.
