Just finished the first opening mission and I have to say, even if they do go in a completely different direction, I won't care. I wanna see a NEW story, I wanna see what happens if Aerith survives. I wanna see the game take a different path....Or stay the same. I don't care. I think staying true to the original OR diverging and having a different ending are great, because the gameplay is fantastic!
Honestly, I love that they're opening things up to maybe be different.
