"it's just a flu bro!"
"think of the economy! we need to end this shutdown now!"
meanwhile...
Within one month, the number of people dying daily in the US from COVID-19 went from zero to higher than the total average daily deaths from homicides, suicides, motor vehicle accidents, and all drug and alcohol overdoses combined.

Over 500 pr day now, and a week from now, that should be over 1000 pr day.
And you cant rule out, that it could reach 2000 pr day, the following week after that.
People will say... its just a drop in the bucket! in america we have 7500 deaths pr day of other causes than covid-19.
500/1000/2000 extra pr day is nothing.
People are still not takeing this seriously. If they want shutdowns to end early, and everyone to just go back to work.
If things continue on current path, 3 weeks form now, there could be around 27,000 deaths in the US due to this virus. Last edited by JRPGfan - on 29 March 2020
