Regarding the poll question, since Playstation Now caps games at 720p on PC (for seemingly no reason), that's how I experienced God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn.
The games clearly aren't made for it, so it's not exactly optimal, but once you get used to it they actually still look pretty great and ofc play the same regardless.
So absolutely I still consider it viable and even more so on Switch where games like BotW look just as good if not better in handheld mode.
