I juts got back in from my regular run on the trails.

The Corona effect: Normally I see about 1 or 2 people in total on a Friday, today 4 motocross bikes, 12 quad bikes, about 16 people walking, 9 dogs. Good job Canada, closing the parks, fields and GRCA trails, bringing people closer together on what's left! I even crossed the river to get to the always deserted empty side (wading through, water still freezing but not up much further than my knees) but there were just as many cross bikes and quad bikes on that side. (They can easily cross the river as well of course)

I did also see up to 20 deer, couple very large birds of prey and thousands of toads. Or rather heard them chirping in all the melting the ponds when the quad bikes were silent for a bit. At least people were not walking in large groups anymore and staying away from others. I know that forest like the back of my hand so stayed on the smaller trails and game trails, no problem avoiding people so far. But damn, go out for some relaxation, nearly half the time nothing but echoing screams of quad bike engines. Cheap gas effect I guess.

This is in a small town, what do people in large cities do?
