Haven't played enough of either year to know really. I will say that I think 2019 was as good as 2017 overall, and this year will probably be the same. Though, that could just be because I've yet to play many of the 2017 games out there.

2017 seems to have a greater variety of big big titles, but 2020 seems to have possibly more refined experiences (Ori 2, Nioh 2, Persona 5 R etc.)
