Very disappointed by the small amount of BC PS4 titles though. Was hoping it would be fully BC with all PS4 games at least...

They put the BC on the silicon of PS5. They confirmed the top 100 played games run fine, but almost all BC have odd cases where it won't work so Sony is still testing case by case to confirm. But don't worry as probably all relevant games will run.
