I would rather have them say, we decided to delay the game for a couple more months to give our employees time to adjust to the situation and care for their family members.
Working from home is less productive and bloody difficult when your kids are at home as well. (Talking from experience). You also tend to crunch even more to get things done, much easier to work into the night when you work from home, end up making more mistakes, don't have a real switch off anymore between work and home life, and your SO will start to resent you just shoving food into your home office while trying to keep the kids out of your way.
Working from home has turned me off software development for good. It has its benefits, but in the end its draining. For a couple months it shouldn't have lasting effects, but don't expect the game to be finished in time.
