So glad you guys got a lift out of this!
It did seem like the mood here was getting pretty somber, which is completely understandable, I mean, six months without a Direct? :p

Also, in local good news, my parents were recently able to return to their home, which they had to evacuate due to the bushfires weeks earlier, and found the fire had spared their property. My Mum is also coming up on 7 years clean of cancer.

And hopefully that cancer never comes back. :)

Here's a breakthrough solar system that uses recycled aluminum and no batteries.

One million "Wonder Plant" seedlings planted in Wales to fight climate change.

Woman starts doing grocery runs for neighbors to reduce their corona virus exposure.

Deer hunters donate their kills to food banks across Missouri.

Governor of California donates 300 state-owned buildings for homeless shelters.

Thanks, and yeah hopefully; after 7 years gone the risk is almost back to as if she hadn't had it.

Also; Australian researchers say they are "within reach" of a cure for COVID-19: https://7news.com.au/lifestyle/health-wellbeing/australian-researchers-within-reach-of-coronavirus-cure-c-746655

They have identified two drugs that have "stopped Coronavirus in its tracks" in lab tests, and shown "promising results" when given to patients. One usually used for HIV and another for Malaria. Furthermore, because they pre-existing drugs, we already know they are safe.
