A lot of gamers have their preferences, and so they are willing to wait for a game they want to come to their platform of preference. Sony should know PC gamers won't jump and get a PS4/5 to play their games. They are willing to wait for either the game to "legitimately" come or wait for emulation. I have a PS4, but I rarely touch it, and cause of that I will not get a PS5.
And speaking of waiting, a lot of gamers wait for prices of games to come down. Sony games go down in price very quickly, they lose their value just months after release. I didn't get HZD until exactly one year after it's release (Feb. 2018) for $15, and it was the Complete Edition which came out 3 months prior (Dec. 2017).
